Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane was the matchwinner as the North London giants sealed a spot in the quarterfinals of the Champions League at the expense of German Bundesliga leaders Borussia Dortmund.
Harry Kane scored the only goal of the game to give his Tottenham Hotspur side a 1-0 win at the home of Borussia Dortmund.
His goal decided the second leg last 16 tie at the Signa Iduna Park thus helping Spurs seal a 4-0 aggregate win over the Germans.
Harry Kane has been attracting the interest of major European sides like Real Madrid and Premier League giants Manchester United but it’s unlikely that the Spurs talisman will leave the club this summer.
Spurs were without Harry Kane in the first leg when they took a major step towards the quarterfinals by beating their German opponents 3-0 at home.
All the goals from the first leg came in the second half after the visitors (Borussia Dortmund) had dominated the first half of their maiden win in the Champions League this season.
Borussia Dortmund played well in the first half of the second leg just like what was obtainable in the first leg but they were unable to find a route past Spurs goalkeeper Hugo Lloris before Harry Kane got his winning goal in the second half.
