Premier League giants Manchester United are eyeing a double swoop for two of their defensive targets according to transfer reports emanating from the British media.
The Daily Express claim that the Red Devils are planning a £100m raid on Portuguese champions FC Porto and Italian Serie A giants Inter Milan for Eder Militao and Milan Skriniar respectively.
Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly is the top transfer target for Manchester United but they have had two bids rejected for the Senegalese international centre back including a £95m in December.
It seems like the Red Devils are ready to move away from Koulibaly and onto other targets in the quest to boost their ailing squad on the defensive fronts.
Brazilian international star Eder Militao and Slovakian player Milan Skriniar represent cheaper options for Manchester United in comparison to the previously mentioned Koulibaly.
Eder Militao has been attracting the interests of several European clubs since he joined FC Porto from Brazilian Serie A side Sao Paulo in the summer.
He can play as a right-back, as a central defender and as a defensive midfielder.
Milan Skriniar has been in very good form for Inter Milan since he signed for fellow Italian Serie A side Sampdoria at the start of last season.
