The official has confirmed that Shonka Dukureh, 44, was found dead in her apartment on Thursday.
The Actress and singer died one month after the release of her latest film, Elvis.
She was found unconscious in her apartment in Nashville, where she lived with her two children, according to a Metro Nashville Police Department statement.
However, one of the children found her unconscious in her room and ran to the neighbor’s apartment. Then the neighbor called 911 to come.
Unfortunately, there is no sign of violence or something else due to her death. However, the police reported that the exact cause would be revealed Postpartum.
