EA has confirmed that they will not be involved in the upcoming Star Wars: Knights Of The Old Republic remake. During Sony’s PlayStation Showcase event, the long-rumored KOTOR remake was finally confirmed as coming to PC and PS5.

The upcoming Star Wars game will be exclusively available on these consoles at launch.

EA has refused to list Knights Of The Old Republic as one of their Star Wars games, but they have other titles like Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order and Squadrons and battlefront on the roster.

It looks like we’ll have something new to play in Star Wars: The Old Republic Remake, after all. While the game was announced without much detail, it appears EA is not involved with this project and can’t wait for more news about what they are working on.

Bioware has revealed that while they are proud of their work on Knights Of The Old Republic, it will be interesting to see what changes can make for an improved experience. Bioware’s tweets also suggest a possible interest in Aspyr Media’s new Star Wars: Return of the Jedi game coming soon; definitely one worth checking out!

The Knights of the Old Republic Remake is an upcoming game developed by Aspyr, which has previously worked on porting a vast number of Star Wars games to different consoles.

This new version will be released for PlayStation 5 and PC. However, the game is still in development, so there isn’t any information regarding its release date.
