The Shiba Inu meme token, after a long-awaited waiting period, is now expected to be listed on Coinbase by September 9. In mid-July, the holders of this popular cryptocurrency exploded with excitement when they found out that Coinbase had added it to their list of supported cryptocurrencies in what was an important validation for them.”

Coinbase tweeted that people could start transferring inbound transfers for Shiba Coin (SHIB) into the regions where trading was available if market liquidity allowed it. The process began at 9 AM Pacific Time and would begin with an order book opening hours later.

With SHIB being listed on Coinbase and more accessible, it may attract people interested in the “Dogecoin killer.”

The second time Shiba Inu is being added to Coinbase Pro, the meme coin with an extremely large supply. Half was supposed to be burned though which makes it interesting and engaging.

According to Coinbase Pro,

“Inbound transfers for SHIB are now available in the regions where trading is supported. Traders cannot place orders and no orders will be filled. Trading will begin on or after 9 AM PT on Thursday, September 9, if liquidity conditions are met”.

“Once sufficient supply of SHIB is on the platform, our SHIB-USD and SHIB-USDT order books will launch in 3 phases. If order books do not meet our assessment for a healthy and orderly market, we may keep the book in one state or suspend trading as per our Trading Rules”.

“SHIB is not yet available on Coinbase or via our Consumer mobile apps. We will make a separate announcement if and when this support is added”.
