EPL outfit Man United midfielder Paul Pogba might be criticized by a number of pundits and former players for his poor form but that is nothing to bother about as he has the ability to return to his best if he wishes.

This was revealed by North London outfit Tottenham No. 1 Hugo Lloris who backs his fellow countryman to return to his best form as soon as possible.

The former Real Madrid midfielder has been under pressure and criticism for his poor start to this campaign. He has scored just one goal in 11 appearances in all competitions for manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s team. No wonder he cannot be guaranteed regular playing time.

The 27-year-old is known to be the star man of the team but to the surprise of many, he was handed just eight minutes of the game in Man United’s 3-1 win against Everton at Goodison Park.

However, Hugo Lloris, who is the first-choice goalkeeper for both Tottenham and France, said the World Cup winner has been in situations like this on several occasions in the past and was able to overcome them, stressing that he has no doubt about it

“He lacks a bit of rhythm, compared to his situation at his club. Like [Raphael] Varane or [Antoine] Griezmann, he comes with a smile,” the Spurs captain told a press conference ahead of Les Bleus’ UEFA Nations League clash with Portugal on Saturday night.

“We see him ready to meet the challenges, the jersey of Les Bleus is close to his heart. He is one of the leaders of this team. He has a long history [with the national team] and also knows how to raise his level when necessary, especially when there is adversity. Tomorrow (Saturday), he will be keen to do well.”

France national team boss, Didier Deschamps has also confessed that Paul Pogba is not having the best of time but backs him to come out stronger.
