English Premier League outfit Arsenal have already begun preparations for the summer transfer window in 2021 by meeting a player that appears to be very important the current team’s setup.

The North London outfit engaged in the last summer transfer window and brought in a number of players to improve Mikel Arteta’s team, including Thomas Partey, Willian, and Gabriel Magalhaes. They have all come in to make their own impacts.

However, it has been agreed by pundits and former players that the Gunners team lack the spark of creativity and the Spanish boss seems to have seen the need for one as well.

Lyon midfielder Houssem Aouar is the creative player the Gunners made an attempt to sign last summer but failed. There are talks that the North London club will return for his signature but that might not happen again with the latest report that Arsenal chief Edu has held talks with the agent of Red Bull Salzburg midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai for a deal worth £22 million.

According to reports, as cited by Sport Witness, the Hungarian’s agent has met with Arsenal regarding a move ahead of next summer.

Dominik Szoboszlai, according to reports have a release clause of £22 million which is cheaper than that of Houssem Aouar who has been valued by transfer market at £45 million.

The North London outfit might have made up their mind to move in for Dominik Szoboszlai and abandon their pursuit of the French midfielder when the summer transfer window is opened.
However, the North London club have been able to get better defensively with the presence of Thomas Partey at the midfield and Gabriel Magalhaes as the central defender.

With the current situation of goal drought at Arsenal, the North London outfit might make a move for an attacker as early as in the winter window.
