Want-away goalkeeper Sergio Romero seems to have confirmed to part ways with Man United as he now trains alone, away from the entire team ahead of the winter transfer window.

Sergio Romero was keen to leave Man United in the last summer transfer window but his move was blocked by the club which angered him and his family. He reacted by expressing his dissatisfaction with the club.

The Argentina international goalkeeper got relegated to the third choice shot-stopper in the team after the return of Dean Henderson from a loan spell and he is not willing to remain in that position.

Sergio Romero was also not included in the club’s Premier League and Champions League squad for the season. He had offers in the last summer window from Inter Miami in the MLS and Everton but the suitors did not meet the Red Devils asking price.

However, the Sun confirms that Sergio Romero has returned to training but he is only working in isolation from the team with the hope he could finally leave the club as soon as the January transfer window is opened.

Since joining the club in 2015, Sergio Romero has never been a first-choice goalkeeper as he always played behind other goalkeepers but he is also an important member of the squad who has helped to achieve great results each time he is given the opportunity.

With his contract set to expire in June, the Red Devils must sell him in the January transfer window so as cash in from his sale as his decision to train alone is proof that he is set to leave the club anytime possible.

However, the battle for first-choice goalkeeper is between David De Gea and Dean Henderson but the Spanish goalkeeper has been favored ahead of the English goalkeeper by manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
