Top Premier League clubs struggle with having a good defence, and it is expected that they all go out to reinforce their team in the coming January winter transfer window.

Chelsea is one team that have suffered poor defending to have conceded plenty of gaols but that seems to have been resolved with the emergence of Edouard Mendy as the first choice goalkeeper but that will not stop manager Frank Lampard to bring in a new face if the opportunity is presented.

Man United are also seeking a viable partner for Harry Maguire and have been linked with a number of names as possible targets for the January transfer window while Liverpool are dipped in an injury crisis and will want to secure a defensive cover as well.

However, Premier League duo, Chelsea, and Man United are monitoring Sebastian Walukiewicz from the Italian Serie A outfit Cagliari ahead of potential offers.

Sebastian Walukiewicz only joined the Serie A outfit in 2019 and has been consistent on the club’s books for games across all competitions which made him attract interest from Premier League top shots. He has played all five games for Cagliari this season.

Reports reveal that Sebastian Walukiewicz was being monitored but scouts of Chelsea and Man United while he was on national assignment for Poland against Italy in the UEFA Nations League.

The report added that other scouts from Atletico Madrid, Inter Milan, Lazio, and Borussia Dortmund were also in the game to watch for Sebastian Walukiewicz. They were all satisfied with his aerial ability and have submitted their reports to their various clubs.

Sebastian Walukiewicz has two years left on his contract with the Serie A club but there are chances he will not see out his contact with the interests on the table for his services.
