It is reported that English Premier League duo Man United and Wolves made attempts to secure the signature of Arsenal youngster Ainsley Maitland-Niles but the efforts of manager Mikel Arteta stopped anything from happening.
The England international has shown great prospect at the Emirates Stadium and has been identified as a major part of the team for the season and for the club’s future.
It was believed that Ainsley Maitland-Niles’s name was listed as part of the players that would leave the club but following his effort and performance in Arsenal’s FA Cup final win against Chelsea in August.

However, Ainsley Maitland-Niles has made it clear that he was tempted to the North London outfit but after speaking with the Spanish boss, he had no choice to stay because he loved the club.
Ainsley Maitland-Niles revealed that Mikel Arteta installed a lot of confidence in him and makes him discover that he has a lot he can offer to the club as he is a specialist in helping a player discover his best.
Howbeit, Ainsley Maitland-Niles cannot be guaranteed a regular starting role by Mikel Arteta but he has been assured of being a major part of the team in all competitions.
