Arsenal outcast Mesut Ozil might not be busy on the pitch but he has been very busy with social media activities and some of them have been generating controversies.

Mesut Ozil has not featured for the Gunners since last season and he is the highest-paid player at the club with £350,000. He has been urged to leave the club after receiving offers from several teams but he has continued to insist on staying.

The latest offer is understood to have arrived from a Saudi Arabia outfit but he turned it down with claims that he still has a future at the club and will fight for a place in the team.

However, Mesut Ozil took to his Twitter handle retweeted a video that tells the story of some of the best moments under manager Mikel Arteta. This has been interpreted as a plea of a return to the squad.

Mesut Ozil’s contract with Arsenal runs until the summer window and the chances that he will play a single before it comes to an end are slim. Reports claim that the Gunners are considering having him leave the club in the January transfer window by paying him off if he will accept the offer.
