Barcelona forward Ousmane Dembele was a major target for English Premier League outfit Man United but he was reluctant to give his nod to the move before the summer transfer window ended.

The Red Devils had focused had England international winger Jadon Sancho as their top target for the summer transfer window but there was no agreement with German Bundesliga outfit Borussia Dortmund on a fee.

Man United were forced to shift their attention to the Frenchman but he refused to give his nod with his owner, Barcelona reported being angry with Ousmane Dembele because they cannot guarantee him of regular playing time this season.

Now it is reported that the player never wanted to join Man United and is already in talks with the Italian Serie A outfit Juventus for a move that could happen in the January transfer window.

What is not being reported is if Juventus will be signing the Frenchman on loan or not as the Spanish La Liga outfit will prefer a permanent move for the player after new manager Ronald Koeman had told him that he is not in the plans.

It was expected that the Red Devils will return for the signature of the Frenchman but that is obviously not going to happen again because the player is already in talks with Juventus.
