Four major Arsenal players are in the final year of their respective contracts and the Gunners could free up a lot of cash in wages if they don’t decide to renew their contracts.
The quartet of Sokratis Papasthathopoulos, David Luiz, Mesut Ozil and Shkrodan Mustafi have less than one year on their Arsenal deal at the moment and they are on course to leave the club next summer at the end of their various contracts.
Arsenal placed Sokratis, Ozil and Mustafi during the recently concluded transfer window but there were no takers.

Napoli were interested in Greek international centre back Sokratis but the Italians were not willing to pay a small transfer fee for him.
Chilean journalist Eduardo Hagn recently revealed that Arsenal will save up to £34.2m in wages of all the four players leave the club next summer.
As things stand at Arsenal, the club won’t be keen on giving them a new contract.
Of the four players, only David Luiz has featured heavily for Arsenal this season.
Ozil has not played for the Gunners since March and has been left out of the Europa League list.
Sokratis was also left out of the list, while Mustafi made the list.
