An Emerging report has hinted that the English Premier League outfit Arsenal will still return to France for the signature of Lyon midfielder Houssem Aouar after failing in the just concluded summer transfer window.
The French Ligue 1 outfit had insisted on the £45 million release clause for the 22-year-old which the Gunners refused to pay. Efforts to negotiate the deal with a player swap were rejected.
Eventually, the North London outfit decided to activate the release clause of Ghanaian international midfielder Thomas Partey from Spanish La Liga outfit Atletico Madrid.

It is now being reported that the Gunners will still return for Houssem Aouar but this time, it could be on their own terms as they will not insist on him if Lyon fail to corporate in the deal.
However, the North London outfit are reported to have made a decision to swoop for the signature of RB Salzburg midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai as he has been tipped to be a better alternative as a young player.
Dominik Szoboszlai has been likened to be another Kevin De Bruyne which is the kind of player needed by manager Mikel Arteta to fit into his new project and style of play and to the target of a title.
