There is another reason to talk about the future of French forward Alexandre Lacazette at Arsenal as a number of strikers are already being linked to the club as his heir.

The latest summer transfer window saw the former Lyon striker being linked with a move away from the Emirates Stadium with claims that he is being wanted by Italian Serie A outfit Juventus while other reports linked him with the Spanish La Liga outfit Atletico Madrid.

The contract of the French forward with the Gunners will soon come to an end and it is feared that it will not be renewed as manager Mikel Arteta might be looking forward to another quality in his team.

However, the Gunners chief Edu now has a major duty to decide on the future Arsenal No 9 and attention is being paid to two strikers who are known for goal scoring, especially with their deliver last season.

Scottish outfit Celtic striker Odsonne Edouard is one of the players that is being considered by The Gunners, including Austra based RB Salzburg striker Patson Daka. Both strikers have proven that they can make a big impact on a bigger stage in a club like the Gunners.
