There is no doubt that for obvious reasons, this summer transfer window was Man United’s best chance of landing England international winger from Borussia Dortmund Jadon Sancho but they failed to achieve that.
The Red Devils and the German Bundesliga outfit spent weeks on the negotiation table with a fee of £109 being negotiated. The Red Devils proposed an offer worth £90 million but the club refused.
Man United had concluded that their move for Jadon Sancho would cost close to £227 million after other factors are being considered.

The fact the Red Devils were the only suitors for the Man City academy product makes it easier for them to seal the deal. More so, the asking price could rise higher in the coming summer window and that could also be too expensive for the Red Devils to negotiate.
However, the emerging report claims that the Red Devils will not be the only one in the chase for Jadon Sancho in the coming summer transfer window with claims that English Premier League title holders Liverpool and German Bundesliga outfit Bayern Munich will be joining in the race.
There are fears that the Red Devils might not have the financial muscle to battle for Jadon Sancho against Liverpool and Bayern Munich and will be forced to lose him.
