After enduring a disappointing summer transfer window for failing to secure the services of most of their transfer targets, the January winter window might be the opportunity for the Red Devils to make it up.

The Red Devils were linked with the signature of England international winger Jadon Sancho but were unable to seal his signature because of the high £108 million fee slammed on him by German Bundesliga outfit.

Efforts to also secure the sigma true of Wales star Gareth Bale from Real Madrid was unsuccessful as he opted to join his former club, Tottenham while French forward Ousmane Dembele failed to agree on a move on deadline day.

More to this is the fact that the Red Devils were unable to bring in a centre-back despite the high demand as recommended by pundits and former players and the preferred choice of a winger for manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has not arrived yet.

However, the winter transfer window could be the opportunity for the club to correct its mistake while Ousmane Dembele could be forced to join as he might not be graced with playing time at Camp Nou. Barcelona are also reported to be unhappy with him for refusing to move to the Old Trafford.
