North London outfit Arsenal have not hidden their wish to snap up the signature of Atletico Madrid midfielder Thomas Party and French Ligue 1 midfielder Houssem Aouar this summer transfer window.
None of the deal has been sealed but talks are ongoing with the representatives of the two players as the fee has become a major challenge for the Gunners to meet.
It is understood that Houssem Aouar is willing to move to the Emirates Stadium while it has been difficult to negotiate for Thomas Partey.

However, it is understood that Thomas Partey does not fancy the idea of joining Arsenal which makes it more difficult and it has been made more complicated with the fact that Atletico Madrid are not also desperate to lose the Ghanaian international.
Howbeit, Atletico Madrid could be forced to let go of Thomas Partey if Arsenal are willing to activate his release clause as that is their only chance at the moment.
Meanwhile, it is more likely that the North London outfit will be landing Lyon midfielder as it is claimed that he has already agreed on personal terms with the club while Arsenal may conclude the deal by Friday.
Lyon have already landed the signature of Lucas Paqueta and it is assumed that he will be serving as a replacement for Houssem Aouar.
