Arsenal To Battle Two Clubs For Top Target Aouar

Arsenal have two other clubs to worry about in their pursuit of Lyon creative midfielder Houssem Aouar in the present transfer market.

The interest of two other clubs was confirmed by Lyon president Jean Michel Aulas.

The Lyon supremo talked about Aouar and his possible exit during the unveiling of a new signing on Wednesday evening.

Brazilian international Lucas Paqueta has joined Lyon in an £18m deal from seven-time European champions AC Milan and Aulas spoke extensively about Houssem Aouar during the unveiling of Paqueta.

The Lyon president said that two clubs are interested in signing Houssem Aouar, while the third club wants to sign the Algerian-born French player on a medium term. He also said that none of the teams has met the club’s demands for the player to sold

Jean Michel Aulas had earlier told reporters this week that Arsenal will have to pay more than what they are offering for Aouar.

He has also given clubs an ultimatum of Friday for the transfer of Lyon players. According to him, Lyon players won’t leave the club after the upcoming Friday.

Apart from Aouar, Jeff Reine Adelaide could also leave the club with Rennes and Hertha Berlin in the hunt for the former Arsenal player.
