Real Madrid striker Luka Jovic has told Premier League giants Manchester United that he wants to join them before the transfer window ends in the coming days.
According to the Daily Star, the player’s agent has encouraged the Red Devils to firm up their interest in the Serbian international.
Manchester United have been strongly linked with two strikers in the past few days and Luka Jovic is one of those two players.
Free agent Edinson Cavani is the other striker linked with the Red Devils after the end of his contract at French club Paris Saint Germain (PSG).

Luka Jovic is a reported loan target for Manchester United who are hoping to capitalise on his bad first season at Real Madrid.
The Serbian striker was one of the most sought after players in European football last summer and that culminated in a €60m (£55m) transfer to Real Madrid.
Jovic left German Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt for Madrid but he has not been able to show the form that made him one of the hottest strikers in Europe during his stay at the Estadio Santiago Bernebeu.
He scored two goals in 27 appearances in all competitions for Real Madrid last season as he was also disturbed by several injury issues.
