Arsenal are reported to be in talks with Italian Serie A outfit Lazio over the signature of Shkodran Mustafi and a deal that will take him to Italy is likely to happen this week.
It is understood that the 28-year-old is not in the plans of manager Mikel Arteta this season and has been told to move on as the Spanish manager will prefer Gabriel Magalhaes, Rob Holding, David Luiz, and William Saliba ahead of him.
Shkodran Mustafi has just one year left on his deal at the Emirates Stadium and the North London outfit are keen to cash in from his sale this summer window as there are still other deals to spend on this summer window.\

SunSport reports that two Italian Serie A outfits Lazio and Roma are all interested in the signature of the former Valencia defender but from all indications, Simeone Inzaghi’s team have won the race.
Lazio Press have also confirmed that Shkodran Mustafi’s agent and father have held talks with the Eagles and it seems the outcome is positive.
However, Lazio will have to agree on a deal with Arsenal on a fee for the former Valencia defender so he can move before the close of the transfer window.
