Reports claim that Man United’s former coach, Jose Mourinho is the reason why Sergio Reguilon will not be joining the Old Trafford this summer transfer window.
With Tottenham reported to have won the race for the Spanish left-back, it is reported that the Red Devils had approached him with talks already held but he made a different choice after receiving a call from the Portuguese manager.
The Spanish defender spent last season on loan with Sevilla but will now have a new challenge in the English Premier League with the North London outfit for a fee within the region of £27 million.

Popular transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano made this revelation on a Podcast show when he stated that the 23-year-old was already keen to join Man United, having in mind that he will be playing in the Champions League but everything changed when Tottenham contacted him.
This development leaves Man United fans with another reason to be concerned as they have been hitting the dead rock in most attempts to snap up their targets. Sergio Reguilon will be the latest after Gareth Bale, who is decided already to join Tottenham.
Howbeit, the Red Devils are still confident of signing some players before the summer transfer window ends on October 5.
