Former Bayern Munich president Uli Hoeness has slammed the Premier League duo of Liverpool and Manchester United for trying to blackmail the Bavarian giants into selling their Spanish midfielder Thiago Alcantara.
In his latest interview via china.org, Uli Hoeness blasted Manchester United and Liverpool who are both interested in signing Thiago Alcantara this summer.
According to Uli Hoeness, the Premier League teams are trying to take advantage of the extended summer transfer window by signing the player on the cheap at the latter stages of the transfer window.

Thiago Alcantara has one year left on his Bayern Munich contract at the moment. The Bavarian giants don’t want to sell the player but they have reluctantly slapped a €30m asking price on him.
Uli Hoeness confessed that Bayern Munich face an anxious three weeks until the transfer window ends on October 5.
The ex-Bayern chief also launched an attack on Pini Zahavi who represents defender David Alaba.
Bayern Munich defender Alaba has requested for a new contract worth €25m per annum.
Uli Hoeness finds his wage demands ridiculous and he believes that his agent Pini Zahavi has played a part in it. It was also confirmed that the agent has asked for €20m to get the new contract done.
