One player that will have to leave the Emirates Stadium this summer transfer window is Lucas Torreira as he is reportedly desperate for a move while Arsenal is also keen to sell him as he will not be needed at the club.

There is an attempt by the North London club to refresh the team by offloading some players and bringing in fresh legs and Lucas Torreira is being affected by it.

Respected transfer journalist Nicolo Schira in a tweet on his Twitter account confirmed that the former Sampdoria midfielder wants to leave the club for a return to the Italian Serie A outfit and the Gunners are willing to grant him his wish.

He added that the North London outfit are only willing to release Lucas Torreira for the sum of €25M as the main aim of wanting him to leave is to cash in to be able to fund other trader businesses.

The transfer specialist also claims that Italian Serie club, Torino are keen to win the race for the Uruguayan midfielder but will only make a loan bid for Lucas Torreira with an option to buy but they are still being held back by his €3,2M/year which is perceived to be too high.

It is also understood that the club is in talks with the London outfit but are yet to reach an agreement over a deal.

Meanwhile, Torino is not alone in the chase of Lucas Torreira as he is also attracting interest from other Serie A clubs like Fiorentina and AS Roma.
