Chelsea have rejected a bid for midfielder N’Golo Kante according to journalist Matt Law of the Daily Telegraph.
It was disclosed that the Blues turned down an offer from Inter Milan whose manager Antonio Conte is interested in the French World Cup winner.
Kante and Conte worked together at Chelsea before the latter was sacked in the summer of 2018.
Antonio Conte was the Blues boss when Kante signed in 2016 shortly after he helped Leicester City to the Premier League title. He won the same title in his first season as a Chelsea player under the Italian tactician.

Conte is keen to work with Kante again following the interest of Inter Milan in his services.
It was revealed that Inter Milan’s player-plus-cash offer including Croatian international Marcelo Brozovic was first rejected before the Italian Serie A giants returned with another proposal in a bid to sign world class midfielder N’Golo Kante.
The second Inter Milan proposal included former Tottenham Hotspur playmaker Christian Eriksen but it was also turned down by Chelsea.
Kante is an important player at Chelsea though the Frenchman didn’t have the best of seasons in the last campaign due to various injuries. He made 22 league appearances for his club last season.
