Premier League heavyweights Chelsea are willing to let one of their star players leave this summer according to experienced media practitioner Ian McGarry.
The journalist said this on the Transfer Window Podcast as he added that the Blues want to trim their playing squad after the recent transfer splurge.
French World Cup winner N’Golo Kante is a world-class midfielder but that has not stopped the Blues from considering his sale though the player is said to be reluctant to leave Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea manager Frank Lampard wants to adopt a tactic from his former manager Jose Mourinho by keeping a small circle of players and this can only be possible by trimming the squad especially after the signing of many players.
Kante has been the subject of transfer from the likes of Italian Serie A giants Inter Milan and Spanish champions Real Madrid in recent weeks. The 29-year-old has been dogged by various injury problems in recent months thus restricting him to 22 league appearances last term.
Frank Lampard and Chelsea will have to let several players leave the club if a smaller group of players is to be retained.
Apart from Kante, shot stopper Kepa Arrizabalaga, Belgian striker Michy Batshuayi and many more have been linked with moves away from the club.
