Arsenal Midfielder Set To Return To Italy In €24m Deal

Arsenal are set to lose the services of midfielder Lucas Torreira who could end up in Italy by the time the current transfer window ends next month.
The Gunners signed the Uruguayan international from Italian Serie A side Sampdoria and he could leave the North London outfit after just two seasons with Italian clubs Fiorentina and Torino keen to sign him.
Various media outlets have confirmed the interest of the previously mentioned Italian clubs with Fiorentina said to be the frontrunners.

According to a report from Talksport, Fiorentina are closing in on a two-year loan deal with the obligation to buy the player at the end of that loan spell.
It was revealed that the Italians will pay £7m for Lucas Torreira for the loan deal before signing him for £14m at the end of the loan deal thus taking the transfer to the £21m mark.
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta knows that he has to offload players to raise funds for transfers and the sale of Lucas Torreira could go a long way for Arteta and Arsenal in their bid to sign major transfer target Thomas Partey.
The Gunners will have to pay the £44.4m release clause in Partey’s contract at Atletico Madrid.
