While Man United are reported to have agreed on a deal for Ajax midfielder, Donny van de Beek the next signing could be EB Leipzig defender Dayot Upamecano who is also on the wish list of North London club, Arsenal.
Dayot Upamecano has had a breakthrough in his career with RB Leipzig as he has impressed and amazed football pundits. No wonder he is one of the most in-demand young players across Europe with several clubs having him on their wish list.
It is now understood that Arsenal made an attempt to poach Dayot Upamecano in the last summer window and failed and could be beaten by Man United as the Red Devils are keen on him.

Reports add that the German Bundesliga club are not willing to let go of the 21-year-old Frenchman especially after he signed a new long-term deal but they could be tempted into having a change of heart if they receive a big deal from the Red Devils.
The defensive department is one of the major targets for manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as he seeks to rebuild his team to challenge for the English Premier League title next season.
Meanwhile, Sky Sports pundit Kaveh Solhekol has stated that it will be very difficult for Man United to sign Dayot Upamecano this summer but next summer window could work out.
