English Premier League club Arsenal could welcome a number of big signings this summer as the speculations linking Brazilian star, Philippe Coutinho to the Emirates Stadium is unending.

Philippe Coutinho spent the past seasons away from Barcelona at German Bundesliga outfit Bayern Munich on a loan deal and that has already expired and he is expected to return.

New Barcelona manager Ronald Koeman has reportedly made efforts to convince Philippe Coutinho to remain with the club, insisting that he plans to work with him but the player seems not interested in the offer.

It is understood that Philippe Coutinho has now told the Catalans to be released for a move to the English Premier League, where he fancies.

The North London outfit are the only team to have made a concrete bid for the former Liverpool man and he is reportedly keen to work with manager Mikel Arteta under the new system.

While Philippe Coutinho is willing to push for the move and make certain sacrifices, the Spanish giants will demand a fee of £71 million from the Gunners and that will be a very difficult one to pay.

However, Arsenal are expected to hold talks of a loan deal with Barcelona to be able to land Philippe Coutinho at the Emirates Stadium.
