Man United have made the first positive move to have an option for their top target Jadon Sancho before the end of the summer transfer window.

The Red Devils have been left disappointed in their bid to land the England international winger as they failed to agree on a deal with the German Bundesliga outfit, Borussia Dortmund.

However, Man United are leaving it in the past as they have already identified want-away forward, Douglas Costa as the man to replace the former Man City Academy player.

The Juventus winger is unhappy in Turin and it is now clear to him that he is not wanted by the new manager, Andrea Pirlo as he was not a major part of the squad last season.

Journalist Gianluca Di Marzio has stated that Man United have made a very positive move by meeting with Douglas Costa’s agent to have talks with him on a possible move.

It is claimed that Man United have a concern over the player’s consistent injury and that could be the only challenge as it was discussed with his agent during the talks.

Howbeit, the Red Devils will have to be convinced that his injury crisis would be settled before handing him a deal at the club.
