French striker Alexandre Lacazette is reportedly set to leave the North London club, Arsenal to join the Spanish La Liga club, Atletico Madrid this summer transfer window.

The former Lyon striker is one of the surprise names on the exit list at the Emirates Stadium and it is expected that he will not be lacking in suitors with interests also coming in from Italy.

It is, therefore, claimed that Alexandre Lacazette will be joining the Madrid team for a fee of £30 million.

According to the Sun, the Gunners are hoping to agree on a new deal with Gabon international Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and that could force the French striker to move on.

The report also claims that Alexandre Lacazette has not been a major part of the Mikel Arteta team and there are expectations that it will not get any better in the coming season, especially with the expected arrival of Willian from Chelsea.

However, Alexandre Lacazette seems to be unhappy and has decided to move on as Arsenal begin their wild clearance at the club for new recruits ahead of the rebuilding of the team for the coming season.

Matteo Guendouzi, Lucas Torreira, Shkodran Mustafi, and Ainsley Maitland-Niles are part of the players mentioned to be on the exit list of Mikel Arteta.
