North London outfit, Arsenal’s technical director Edu has spoken in favour of the club’s speculated move for Brazilian international and Barcelona flop, Coutinho ahead of the summer transfer window.

The Gunners have been linked with the Brazilian with claims that they could be returning him to the English Premier League as his future with the Catalans is very unlikely.

Coutinho is now reported to have tabled a transfer request to his Barcelona as he was sent out on loan to German Bundesliga outfit Bayern Munich and from indications; his stay with the club is over.

Mundo Deportivo (via Sport Witness) reports that the former Liverpool playmaker is very interested in returning to the English Premier League with Arsenal and the club are of the same desire.

However, Coutinho was earlier tipped to return to his former owners, Liverpool but manager Jurgen Klopp seems not to be interned in that idea and has snubbed the speculations.

Recall that Coutinho parted ways with the Reds team in 2018 to join Barcelona in a big-money move but has not been the same player since he left and that has prompted the Catalans to send him out on a loan deal to Bayern Munich.
