Paul Ince is against reports that Man United goalkeeper David de Gea should be replaced by Romero in the coming season.

A number of fans and analysts have heavily criticized David de Gea over his recent performance and there have been clamours that he be relieved of his first-team shirt for another option.

Some have also called on manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to bring back Dean Henderson from his loan spell at Sheffield United to take over the role after his impressive performance since the restart of the Premier League.

Speculations have also linked the Spanish shot-stopper away from the Old Trafford for a new goalkeeper to come in.

However, Paul Ince said the wish of some of the fans and analysts is not the best for the Red Devils, insisting that Romero is yet to match David de Gea’s quality which makes it difficult for him to be replaced.

Paul Ince would rather prefer Dean Henderson to Romero for the job should David de Gea be relieved of his first-team role in the coming season.

Meanwhile, manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is unlikely to let go of David de Gea or relieve of his duty for the first-team role after showering praise on the player.
