Man United have been linked with Tyrone Mings from Aston Villa and have the advantage to win the signature of the player in this summer transfer window.

Aston Villa’s stay in the English topflight league is very unlikely as they are very close to being relegated and there are no chances the defender will join the club in the Championship. He is reported to have an agreement with the club on that.

However, the Red Devils face a challenge of battling with Everton for the signature of the defender, according to Birmingham Mail.

Tyrone Mings is more interested in a first-team football and Everton are looking sure to give that opportunity than Man United which could inform his decision on the choice to make.

Manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is keen to engage in the summer transfer window as he seeks to compete in the coming season to win titles but his transfer dealings will be determined by their ability to win a Champions League spot.

The transfer activity for the Red Devils will not be if they fail to secure a Champions League spot according to the manager. Top on their list is Borussia Dortmund star, Jadon Sancho.
