Man United legend, Peter Schmeichel is not leaving any stone unturned when he criticized some players he claims are not giving their best to the club.

While refusing to name any player, he said some players have contributed nothing and are only seeking to create a profile, instead of playing for the club and the badge.

He stressed that there is still much work to be done in the Ole Gunnar Solskjaer team despite the good run of form they enjoy.

Peter Schmeichel told manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer that the focus should not be on buying new players alone but doing away with those that do not contribute to the team is also crucial.

It is widely believed that Schmeichel was referring to Jesse Lingard after citing a player who wants to create a brand like David Beckham.

Recall that the Sun had reported that Jesse Lingard is trying to make his ‘JLingz’ brand like Beckham’s.

Meanwhile, Jesse Lingard has not made it to the pitch for any Man United game since the restart of the season and has not been on the bench for the last three games.

It is believed that he might not be working as hard as expected to earn a place in the Ole Gunnar Solskjaer team.
