The man of the moment for Man United is new recruit, Bruno Fernandes as he has come in to help the team get better with his impressive performance.

Bruno Fernandes joined the Red Devils in January and has since improved the team with goals and assist.

Despite all of these reasons to behold for smiles, Man United fans are still having some regrets for not landing the player in the last summer transfer window.

MEN Sport claims that the Red Devils were interested in the star player but did not press for a deal as it ended only in admiration. It is claimed that United would have landed the 25-year-old if they had shown more seriousness and will in the deal.

There is now no doubt that Man United would have had a better season if Bruno Fernandes was around much earlier.

He has now scored six goals in 13 appearances for his new side after his goal against Brighton. Record also shows that the Red Devils have not lost any game since the former Sporting Lisbon player arrived.

While it’s too late to cry, United are still hoping that with Fernandes, they can still hit the target of a Champions League spot especially as they are just two points behind fourth-placed Chelsea.

With few games left to the end of the season, the consistency Man United enjoy could help at the end of the day.
