Conte is a big fan of the Chelsea defender and we will not forget that the Italian boss signed him to Chelsea in 2018 for a fee of £18 million. There are could still be a reunion between them.
The Inter Milan boss has been making efforts to rebuild the team and beat off competition from Juventus. He has, therefore, been busy with buys especially after securing Alexis Sanchez, Romelu Lukaku, and Christian Eriksen. He seems not to be stopping at that.
Should Antonio Conte succeed with a deal for Emerson Palmieri, he will be the second from Chelsea after Nigerian international Victor Moses. This will help him have familiar faces at the club to make the building of the team easy.
