The Coronavirus pandemic that ravaged the world and put football on hold is already having an effect on clubs. There is no doubt that most clubs will struggle financially in the coming summer transfer window.

Man United is not left out of this as there are fears that some players will have to leave to be able to do some deals when the summer transfer window is finally opened. Reports claim that five (5) players will be shown the exit door.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is yet to stamp his feet as a winning boss and that may not happen until he wins the EPL title. To achieve this, he is desperately willing to lay off some players to create space for new recruits.

Reports claim that Alexis Sanchez is first on the list and that is more to his unsatisfactory performance. His high wage has to be slashed and converted for other productive players.

The Mirror reports that Jesse Lingard is also on the list of players expected to leave including Andreas Pereira. English center-backs Chris Smalling and Phil Jones are also mentioned because of their poor performance.

However, ole Gunnar Solskjaer will be more particular about equipping his defence in the summer transfer window.
