Three-time European champions Manchester United will most likely strengthen their midfield in the summer especially if star player Paul Pogba is sold.
French World Cup winner Pogba has two more years on his Red Devils contract and the newest media reports claimed that the club won’t offer him a new deal plus a fee of around £100m has been set as his price tag amidst the interest from former club Juventus, French champions Paris Saint Germain (PSG) and Spanish club Real Madrid. Pogba has always wanted to leave Manchester United since last summer and a sale this summer could be the ultimate solution to the previous problems involving the player and the club.
With his sale being a good possibility this summer, a lot of replacements have been mentioned in the media and Leicester City playmaker James Maddison is on that list. Others on the list of possible replacements for Paul Pogba at Manchester United include Aston Villa skipper Jack Grealish, West Ham United star Declan Rice and Lille midfielder Boubakary Soumare.
