Premier League club Manchester United have acknowledged the statement from European football governing body UEFA over the postponement of the 2020 European Championship.
UEFA had earlier this week that the 2020 European Championship will now take place next summer to accommodate the 2019/20 European leagues. The postponement of the tournament is to let the various European leagues conclude their season.
The leagues were suspended earlier this month because of the dreaded Coronavirus. For example, the Premier League was initially suspended till April 4 before it was further postponed until April 30.
Manchester United also listed the players that could be affected by the change of schedule for the 2020 European Championship from this summer to the next.

Manchester United players Marcus Rashford and Harry Maguire are regulars in the England national team starting XI, while the likes of Luke Shaw, Jesse Lingard and Aaron Wan-Bissaka have the opportunity to make the squad.
Paul Pogba has been limited to just eight games for Manchester United this season mainly because of an ankle problem but that won’t stop him from taking his place in the French national team under the guidance of manager and former player Didier Deschamps as long as he can prove his fitness.
New Manchester United signing Bruno Fernandes is also a permanent fixture in the starting XI for the reigning European champions Portugal. He was part of the team that won the inaugural edition of the UEFA Nations League.
Bruno Fernandes has scored three goals and provided four assists in his first nine games in the colours of his new club Manchester United whom he signed for last month.
Manchester United winger Daniel James should also be part of the squad for the Welsh national team. He was signed by the Red Devils at the start of the season in a £15m deal from Welsh club Swansea City.
