Manchester United director Ed Woodward is planning a double transfer swoop ahead of this summer as per the latest media reports emanating from the media in the United Kingdom.

According to the Daily Star, Ed Woodward wants to splash the sum of £100m on two young players this summer.

Ed Woodward is planning to raid Midlands clubs Aston Villa and Birmingham City for their best players.

Woodward and Manchester United want to sign Jude Bellingham from Birmingham City in the English Championship and Jack Grealish from Aston Villa this summer.

Birmingham City midfielder Jude Bellingham emerged from the club’s Academy this season to become the youngest goalscorer in the history of the English Championship club.

Jude Bellingham has scored four goals plus three assists in 39 appearances in all competitions.

The 16-year-old is also the youngest player to make a first team appearance for Birmingham City.

Jude Bellingham earns a measly £175m weekly salary at Birmingham City as he won’t sign a professional contract until he turns 17 on June 29.

He was a guest of Manchester United on Monday as the young midfielder met with manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and other Manchester United officials including legendary manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Manchester United will have to contend with German Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund in the race to sign Jude Bellingham who’s rated at around £30m.

Ed Woodward and Manchester United also want to sign Aston Villa playmaker Jack Grealish who is rated at around £70m.

Jack Grealish has been the livewire at Aston Villa who are trying to escape relegation from the Premier League. Aston Villa are one point off the last safe place on the league table with a game in hand.

Aston Villa have 26 points from 28 games and their game in hand is the home game with fellow promoted team Sheffield United.
