Former Premier League champions Manchester United are leading the chase for Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho according to The Telegraph.
Jadon Sancho will be one of the most in-demand players when the summer’s transfer window reopens later this year.
The aforementioned report claimed that Manchester United are ahead of Liverpool in the race to sign the 19-year-old England international player.
French champions Paris Saint Germain (PSG) and Spanish La Liga leaders Real Madrid are also said to be monitoring his situation at Borussia Dortmund.
Jadon Sancho has a big contract at Borussia Dortmund but that might not stop him from moving away from the club this summer with his preference said to be a return to the Premier League.
He left the Premier League in the summer of 2017 when the young winger grew restless over his status at Manchester City. Sancho left the Citizens to sign for Borussia Dortmund.
Jadon Sancho has been nothing short of sensational since his transfer to Borussia Dortmund.
He came close to firing Borussia Dortmund to the German Bundesliga title last season before five-time European champions Bayern Munich piped them to the title on the final day of the season.
Manchester United tried to sign Sancho last summer but they could not pull a deal off for him mainly because of Borussia Dortmund’s stance.
Borussia Dortmund were very vocal about keeping him at the club last summer and senior officials at the club are towing the same path for this summer. It is only a matter of time to know whether their approach will work for them as they try to keep him at the Signa Iduna Park beyond this season.
Jadon Sancho is rated at over £100m at the moment and he has scored 14 goals plus as many assists in all competitions for Borussia Dortmund.
