Manchester United could sacrifice one of their best players in the summer according to the Daily Mirror.
David De Gea is the first choice goalkeeper at Manchester United and the Spaniard is one of the best players in the Red Devils squad.
It was revealed that De Gea could be sold as Manchester United try to raise money for new players this summer.
Spanish international shot stopper David De Gea signed a new contract at the club in September 2019 until the summer of 2023 but the emergence of Dean Henderson means that his position as the first choice could be under threat from the young goalkeeper.
Dean Henderson has been very impressive during his loan spell with Sheffield United who are the surprise package in this season’s Premier League.

Dean Henderson had spent last season on loan at Sheffield United from Manchester United as he helped them to secure promotion from the English Championship at the end of the last campaign.
He then extended his loan spell into this season. The English shot stopper has kept nine clean sheets in goal for Sheffield United and only two goalkeepers have kept more.
Burnley goalkeeper Nick Pope and Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson Becker are the only ones who have kept more clean sheets (10) than Dean Henderson. Manchester United also have the option of Sergio Romero who’s the best second choice goalkeeper in the Premier League.
In the end, Manchester United may not sell David De Gea to raise funds especially if Paul Pogba eventually leaves this summer. The French midfielder has one year remaining plus an additional year.
Juventus and Paris Saint Germain (PSG) are long-term admirers for David De Gea who came close to joining Real Madrid five years ago.
