Premier League clubs including Manchester United have less than 48 hours to sign players before the January winter transfer market ends.
Manchester United already have one signing in the bag in Bruno Fernandes from Sporting Lisbon though the 25-year-old midfielder still needs to undergo medical and also sign contract papers to complete his transfer to the club.
The Red Devils clearly need more firepower upfront especially with the injury to England national team star Marcus Rashford.
He suffered a double stress fracture to his back earlier this month and that would rule him out until for 2-3 months.
Manchester United will miss his goalscoring threat until March-April as he’s the topscorer with 19 goals in this campaign.

The Red Devils can explore four options as a short-term measure to cater to the loss of Marcus Rashford to injury.
Islam Slimani –
The AS Monaco loanee is on a season-long loan deal at the French club from Leicester City. The Algerian striker could cut short his loan spell at Monaco to sign for Manchester United.
Edinson Cavani –
The Uruguayan international is another loan option though Atletico Madrid are favourites to sign him permanently from PSG.
Carlos Tevez – The 35-year-old striker was formerly a Manchester United player before he controversially joined Manchester City.
Krzysztof Piatek –
AC Milan striker is attracting interest from Manchester United, Hertha Berlin and Tottenham Hotspur.
