Inter Milan midfielder Mattias Vecino could still end up in the Premier League before the transfer window closes next week according to SportItalia.

The Uruguayan international midfielder is attracting serious interest from the Premier League duo of Everton and Manchester United.

As a matter of fact, Inter Milan turned down an offer for him from Manchester United who are keen to bolster their squad in both midfield and attack.

Manchester United were rebuffed in their bid to take him on loan until this summer by Inter Milan as they target midfield additions to offset the blow of losing both Paul Pogba and Scott McTominay to long-term injuries.

Inter Milan want to offload some players this month after the arrivals of Victor Moses and Ashley Young plus the imminent transfer of Christian Eriksen.

Chelsea loanee Victor Moses has cut short his loan spell at Fenerbahce to sign for Inter Milan on a short-term loan contract until this summer with the option to sign him permanently.

Victor Moses had signed on loan for Fenerbahce from Chelsea last year January for a period of 18 months.

Ashley Young has joined the Nerazzurri from Manchester United this month for a fee said to be around €1.5m.

For Christian Eriksen, Tottenham Hotspur and Inter Milan have agreed a £17m deal for him to join the Italians.
