English news channel Sky Sports has given an update on the transfer situation surrounding Sporting Lisbon talisman Bruno Fernandes who’s a major target for Premier League giants Manchester United during this winter window.
According to the news outlet, talks have broken down between Manchester United and Sporting Lisbon over Bruno Fernandes.
It was stated that Manchester United had been quoted £39m for Bruno Fernandes before his Portuguese club decided to move the post by increasing the money to £68m.

Manchester United have found it hard to match the new asking price of £68m from Sporting Lisbon if they want to sign their major transfer target in this January window.
There had been suggestions that Manchester United could include a former player of Sporting Lisbon, Marcos Rojo, in the deal that would take Bruno Fernandes to Old Trafford.
Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer doesn’t have much room to maneuver with his midfield options at the moment due to injuries to key players and the right thing to do is to try and add quality midfielders to his team for the second half of the season.
It could be a case of lightning strikes twice for Bruno Fernandes who also came close to signing for Manchester United last year.
