Manchester United are still not close to agreeing a transfer fee with Sporting Lisbon for their skipper Bruno Fernandes according to TVI24 show Mias Transferencias.

It was disclosed that the two clubs are still wide apart in their valuation for the Portuguese international player.

Bruno Fernandes will earn £150,000 as weekly salary at Manchester United if they are able to reach a transfer fee agreement with Sporting Lisbon and he’ll sign a contract until 2025.

His agent Jorge Mendes was at Old Trafford on Wednesday during the FA Cup third round replay at home to Wolverhampton Wanderers.

It was stated that only one demand from Sporting Lisbon is holding the transfer agreement with the Red Devils who are ready to pay £50m for him plus add-ons that will take the transfer to the £65m mark but the Portuguese club will only sanction the move if Manchester United pay £55m in upfront payment.

While Manchester United are still battling to sign their top transfer target, Inter Milan are closing in on the transfer of their skipper.

Ashley Young has 39 caps for his country England and the two clubs namely Manchester United and Inter Milan have agreed a deal for him ahead of his imminent transfer.
