Manchester United could reportedly have their first signing of this January window in the stands for the crunch league clash with Liverpool this weekend.
Liverpool and Manchester United are the top two most successful clubs in English football and they share an intense rivalry which will be rekindled on Sunday evening.
According to the publication via the Daily Mail, Manchester United might complete a transfer for Sporting Lisbon star Bruno Fernandes in time for the player to make an appearance in the stands at Anfield during the Liverpool game.

Hosts Liverpool are favourites for the Premier League meeting with Manchester United but the league leaders would be wary of a Manchester United side dangerous on the counterattack plus the Red Devils are the only team to force the Reds from winning a league game this season.
In the reverse fixture earlier this season, Liverpool were on the verge of losing to a first half strike from Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford before substitute Adam Lallana rescued a point for them as the two teams settled for a 1-1 draw.
For Bruno Fernandes, the player has agreed his weekly wages with Manchester United who are close to sealing his transfer pending the agreement for a fee with his club, Sporting Lisbon.
