Brandon Williams

Manchester United youngster Brandon Williams drew high praise from his manager shortly after his impressive performance against Norwich City at the weekend.

Brandon Williams was one of the best players during the Premier League game with Norwich City which ended in a 4-0 win at home.

The young Manchester United player has been churning out impressive outings at left-back where he has usurped club skipper Ashley Young and also knocking on the door of the first choice spot currently held by Luke Shaw.

England international Luke Shaw was set to be on the bench at the weekend before he picked up an injury during the warm-up.

Brandon Williams was initially expected to start the Norwich City game ahead of Luke Shaw and that was what happened.

The young defender went on to produce a very good display in the Manchester United shirt.

He won a second-half penalty off the foul from Norwich City goalkeeper Tim Krul and it was converted by Marcus Rashford who doubled the lead for Manchester United.

Marcus Rashford had earlier given Manchester United a first-half lead before that penalty.

Anthony Martial added a third goal for Manchester United before substitute Mason Greenwood wrapped up the emphatic victory for the Red Devils.
