Reigning European champions Liverpool have been seriously linked with a move for highly-rated Fiorentina winger Federico Chiesa who has been a regular fixture for the Italian national team.
The interest of Liverpool in Federico Chiesa was confirmed by popular Italian transfer news outlet La Nazione which revealed that the Reds have stiff competition for his signature from several Italian teams.
Italian Serie A giants Inter Milan and Juventus are both interested in the Fiorentina attacker.
Since the report was published from La Nazione, Liverpool have signed an attacker in Japanese international Takumi Minamino who is on the payroll of Austrian Bundesliga champions Red Bull Salzburg.

The player will join Liverpool from Red Bull Salzburg in the January transfer window after the Reds activated his £7.25m release clause as regards his contract with the Austrian champions.
Federico Chiesa has scored three goals in 15 league appearances for Fiorentina this season as the club continues to struggle at the lower end of the Italian Serie A table.
The Italian attacker has five assists in all competitions this season.
He has one goal in 22 caps for the Italian national team.
